Here we are gathering inside this peaceful tent.
A food director, a musician, a traveller,
a writer, a film director, a baby,
a girl, a mother, a father
and a believer… …

Each and everyone is different,
yet bonded by this feast tonight.
Every grain, vegetable, fish and meat
comes from different backgrounds,
yet they all grew on this EARTH as we all did.

There is an invisible Line running through all the way
up from the sky, to the ground, to the wind, to the trees,
to the ocean, to the people, to every living creature,
to the YESTERDAY, TODAY and TOMORROW.

None of this would have happened without a MIRACLE
of sharing TIME & SPACE together, right HERE, right NOW.

A SIMPLE WONDER,
a SIMPLE DELICIOUS, and
a SIMPLE THANK YOU to this PRECIOUS FEAST.

And this, if I may say, is a true definition of the
Beautiful Bliss of Life.

今こうして集まっている人々
食を導く人、音を奏でる人、絵筆を手に旅する人、
言葉を紡ぐ人、世界をフィルムに写す人、生まれたばかりの人、
髪の長い小さな人、命を産む人、命の種を蒔く人… …

一人一人が異なるけれど、
この晩餐によって引き寄せられ、繋がっている。
ここに集まる穀物、野菜、魚、そして肉もそう。
それぞれ異なる背景で育ってきたけれど、
唯一、共通するのは「みんな、この地球で生まれた」ということ。
今日こうして集まった私たちがそうであるように。

見えないラインが万物を駆け抜け、繋ぎ合わせる。
宙から大地、風から木々、海から生きとし生けるもの、
そして、昨日から今日、明日という未来まで。

すべては、この瞬間と空間を共有できた奇跡。

まっすぐに不思議を味わい、
素直に美味しいと感じ、
そして、この素晴らしいごちそうに純粋に感謝します。

そうだ、人生における美しいまでの至福とは、
こういうシンプルなときめきかもしれない。
